Repeating yourself?
Congratulations for investing in a short plan/framework to get your team to listen and think.
Play these short videos for your team now so they can understand the concepts and implement the information immediately.

These videos will change how your team views/approaches their job each day. Play the videos with your whole team, they are short. Follow our suggestions to make the change happen.
How to implement:
Play the videos to the whole team. Everyone will relate to the content and you will have an easy conversation with your team after the lesson. This is critical. Talk about the lesson, call on the techs (gently) and ask them specific questions about what was said and how they relate. (And listen to what they say.) This process holds them accountable to paying attention and being engaged.
Do not use the information in the lesson as a weapon. Use the lessons as a teaching moment. There could be individuals who have failed in the topics presented and to bring that up will ruin the teaching moment.
The lessons are specific. They are not rules, they set expectations.
This short process prevents repeating yourself by being direct, specific and asking for feedback, in the questions you ask. For example,
"Can you see how accountability is important?",
"What could we share with the client before we begin so the client is more pleased with our work?"
"Who here is people oriented? Task oriented? What regular clients do we have that are task oriented? People oriented? Would the task oriented people rather serve the task oriented clients? Would the people oriented people rather serve the people oriented clients?"
"What can we do to make our clients more comfortable? Less nervous? When do you sense they are not comfortable?"
The biggest discovery we found!
When directing a gen Z person, they want a coach not a manager. This is how they have been raised. To get the most out of them as an employee you need to coach more than manage. (You will learn more about this in the webinar.)
The coach plan, is not easy for many of us to wrap our minds around. The lessons share the content as a coach. When you have a conversation with your team after presenting the lesson, you will come off as a coach. You will be seen as the coach. This will work.
Why?
The secret to getting your team to do their job… is explaining why. Really!
That makes all the difference. This is how our lessons are effective. They explain why.
As entrepreneurs we don’t slow down to explain why. We just tell our team what to do and send them out the door, expecting them to be obedient .
When they know why, they will understand and do the job correctly. They will know how to win at their job (more on that in the webinar).
A quick disclaimer - repeating direction to your team is effective with the right context.
(Being angry and not explaining the problem is not effective.)
*****Another disclaimer, we were guilty of not educating for many years. *****
The first lesson, Everyone Needs A Coach, Eric explains how a coach, you the presenter, can have your team avoid problems and have success in their day.
Follow the other lessons, they will have a video and content to share with your team. On the 5th day, you will have a PDF quiz on the lessons. Print the page out or ask the questions to your team directly to see if they have been engaged.
Please contact us if you have any questions about the Stop-Repeating-Yourself Toolkit.
